Kodiak Island is famous for its salmon. Pristine lakes and rivers surround the entire Island supporting strong runs of all five salmon species. Island Seafoods has our own fleet of fishermen who deliver their catch directly to our processing facility or to one of our Salmon Tenders. Once at Island Seafoods, the salmon are filleted, vacuum sealed and flash frozen to capture the flavor.
Our King Salmon was harvested in the calm waters surrounding the small fishing town of Wrangell, Alaska, in South East. These King Salmon are
the highest quality on the market. Handled with the utmost care, King Salmon are dressed and iced immediately after leaving the water, resulting
in the most beautiful salmon fillet you have ever seen.
Fillet portions weigh 1 lb.
Rich and oily, these beautiful fillets are perfect on the BBQ. When it comes to cooking salmon, keep it simple. Salt, pepper and lemon pan seared with grapeseed oil – it doesn't get any better than that.
Fresh Seafood: Orders for fresh seafood will ship in an insulated box with gel ice packs, overnight from Kodiak using FedEx “Standard Overnight” delivery. Use within a day or two, or freeze.
Frozen Seafood: Orders for frozen seafood will ship frozen in an insulated box with gel ice packs, overnight from Kodiak using FedEx “Standard Overnight” delivery. Your order should arrive frozen, but partial thawing is possible and natural. Simply place in the freezer.
Delivery: Orders must be placed Thursday before 5 p.m. for Saturday delivery. Saturday deliveries are an additional $35. For Hawaii add $35.
